from Chewing Gum

July 18th / 7pm / Tickets £5

Five for a Fiver showcases a variety of Kent based bands. It doesn’t matter what style of music you play or how old you are, we want to hear your music!

This time round Something Something Records will be providing us with a plethora of up-and-coming local acts including:

Boo, Forever
"Boo, Forever is a collaborative song writing project between Daniel Addison (Minor Planet), Simon Norton (Magnets), Benjamin Fletcher (Magnets) and Natalie Evans."

Minor Planet
"Solo project from Daniel Addison reflecting diverse influences. Xiu Xiu, Baths, Bon Iver, Justin Timberlake, Holy Other, Tom Waits, Shad, Richard Thompson, Semble, Braids, How To Dress Well..."

Eat Me
"shambolic rock music"

Chewing Gum
"Chewing Gumm sings songs about people he know's and songs about the people he has never met. They are sometimes one and the same. Chewing Gum, in it's current state, is a solo project, but it is a solo project with big plans for the future. New music and an e.p coming soon."

Two Bit Sister
"Margate's very own rock merchants, Two Bit Sister are rough, raw and ready blending the songwriting skills of Jack White with the youthful urgency of Howler and Bleeding Knees Club. It's primal and is exactly what bored by the seaside sounds like."
